I am a Country/Pop/Rock Singer who was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit.I started singing in my church choir in 3rd grade and continued singing in chorus in school. I found my PASSION in music and have been singing ever since. Music has always surrounded my life growing up. Our Sunday’s after church, were spent out at the Lake or horse back riding in the country. I can remember our family’s Sunday afternoon jam sessions at home. My father would grab his accordian, my sister on the organ, Bongo’s or Spoons and rest was history….. At a young age I performed on WXYZ-TV “Starlit Stairway” Talent Show and also appeared as the monthly Guest Star. I also performed at The Michigan State Fair, Peach Festival in Romeo Michigan and did many USO Shows for the service men. As well as many Hospital Benefits. My parents were great supporters! My mother took time out of her busy schedule to travel me around at my young age. I have been in the following bands in Detroit doing the club circuit ” Medusa” Female Vocalist/Rock Band “Shot Gun” Female Vocalist/Pop/Top 40 Band ” The Randy Black Band” (2) Female Vocalists/Top 40 Band ” WISH” Lead Vocalist/Metal / Studio work Club Circuit and Concerts- J.W. Stone Agency(6 Month Japan Tour) “DANGER POINT” Female Vocalist/Top 40 Band In the 90′s I moved to Paradise (S/W Florida),due to my father’s health condition. And have been here ever since… I have always listened to a wide variety of music.Country being close to my heart… My father who is now deceased, was a hugh Hank Williams fan. His favorite song was “Your Cheating Heart”. I have performed as a “MADONNA” Impersonator with an Elvis impersonator at various Dinner Shows. THANK YOU for stopping by my fan page! I always dreamed of the day when I would have the chance to thank those people who believed in me and my dream of becoming a successful recording artist. It’s not often you get the chance to do something you truly love in life and I am so blessed to finally have this opportunity to live the dream and so I THANK YOU from the bottom of my ♥!

I’ll try to make this brief, but those who know me also know that’s gonna be hard to do, so I’ll do my best to keep it short and sweet =) …

I am married to my super sexy husband for 18 years, and have two amazing teenagers who love to keep me on my toes. We live in the suburbs of Long Island and all have a profound love for all kinds of music. I’ve been singing since I was eight years old and I’ve always been a “rock and roller” at heart, but I’ve always loved the incredible story telling that is spoken through country music. The release of my first solo album “Me Time” is a compilation of everything I love about rock and country music and is my personal take on what I consider to be Long Island Country – a mix of high energy rock with a little taste of home town country – it’s where Nashville meets Bayville and becomes one big happy family! I am honored to have worked with the most talented people from both my past and my present on this album. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did bringing it to life.

I’ll tell you what I tell my kids, “You have to love what you do in life because then it will never feel like work. And when you have an idea or a dream in mind, it’s almost like striking a match, and whether that match creates a flame that flickers or catches fire, you won’t really know until you strike that match. No matter how the odds may be stacked against you or how old you may be in life, strike the match, and see how bright you can burn”.

OCONUS

Photo

http://www.reverbnation.com/oconusmusic

OCONUS is the culmination of years of musical ensembles and solo work that finally merged through the help of several long deployments in the United States Marine Corps.

Drawing from musical influences and experiences ranging from Bach to Clapton, plus nearly everything in between and even some additional genres, Noel & Anthony have teamed up once again, producing dynamic covers and inspiring original songs and recordings.

Collectively, Noel & Anthony possess a vast wealth of experience and training in the musical field. They share formal musical education from institutions including: The Julliard School, Berkeley School of Music, Concordia College, University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Eastern Kentucky University.

Between the two of them, Noel & Anthony have performed live over 400 times, to audiences as large as nearly 20,000. They have collectively participated in over 15 album recording projects, and in addition to their brand-new OCONUS album slated for release in Spring 2012, they are both working on individual recording projects as well.

Although they are only a duo, with the addition of various technological advances, OCONUS is able to provide venues with an acoustic, piano/guitar/vocal presentation, or they can amp it up a bit, providing the sound and texture of an entire 5-piece band.

OCONUS is one of the most versatile duo-ensembles around, and your venue will benefit greatly by adding them to your roster of musical entertainment.

Barley Station

Photo

http://www.reverbnation.com/barleystation

Barley Station is a double-fronted band whose music combines the roots of Americana, Pop/Rock, Country,

and Folk and puts them in a blender with a dash of amaretto pouring out a tasty glass of sound.

The result is a distinctly alternative blend that draws deeply from its roots yet looks forward and to the future.

The music features two and three part harmonies, driving rhythms, and contagious melodies.

The songwriting covers the whole gamut of emotions moving from upbeat bright material to

darker or introspective moods. The sound is punctuated throughout with rootsy alternative country,

bright pop/rock to progressive folk and alternative pop/rock sensibilities.

Real instruments – real voices – real harmonies

Barley Station

“Many hardcore genre purists even like what we’re doing, though some don’t, but its who

we are, and we can’t change that.  It’s just how we write and how we’ve been

influenced”, explains Randy.  He adds, “I was once told by a hard core country fan that

mixing pop into country (or folk) in one of my songs is like spitting in beer!   Though

he seemed to come across as rather offended by our genre bending, the person proceeded

to say he couldn’t help but like that particular song.”  That kind of response comes as

no surprise as songs penned and sung by Randy and Brian in their prior band had won several male

vocalist awards at garageband.com and had been featured tracks despite fitting more

into an “other” category rather than neatly into any one genre.

Barley Station’s core is a trio of two singer/songwriters, Randy Wayne Belt and Brian

Kious, and background vocalist and songwriting partner Casey Wollberg, who worked

together in the midwest based group, The Barnacles, honing their songwriting, stage,

and composing skills for over 10 years. Their music reflects the influence of the roots

of the three writers who are products of the crossroads of music in the midwest, St.

Louis, MO.

Barley Station is no stranger to radio and press.  Under the banner of their previous

group, The Barnacles, they achieved the release of  several CDs, national and regional

tours, given radio interviews, and had airplay on over 200 land radio stations,

including college, public, and some commercial radio.  They received medium rotation on

TABC’s ‘Best of Rock’ show and enjoyed everything from light to heavy rotations on

other stations.  Their genre blending sounds gave them a constant #1 pick up rate (over

90% consistently) with their radio promotion firm.  Barley Station will be a group to

watch as they take those previous successes to new levels.
The group is currently working on their first CD and has just released 3 singles in

anticipation of that release. ‘Common Knowledge’, the first single, explores some

rockin shores along the edge of dreamy melodic landscapes, and a punchy driving rhythm

section that captivates to bring you on the plain of the lyrics. While ‘I Found You’

sticks to roots but  combines the elements of melodic pop and rock with a distinctive

Johnny Cash kind of country feel. The third and latest single, ‘Close To One’ follows

suit but with a pop vocal and delivery inserted into a country beat and feel.

You can find music by Barley Station under their old band name, The Barnacles, here:
