Eric Grover

Some of you reading this biography can relate to Eric. Trying to follow or pursue a dream. You know, that thing or hobby that you are passionate about and hope to turn into a success? Eric’s musical journey started at the age of 17 when he saw the late great Miles Davis in a video later known to him as Tutu Medley. From that point on, Eric has been writing and producing his own material. The music that Eric creates contains all original instrumental songs ranging from Smooth Jazz to Jazz Funk to Underground Jazz using piano or vibes as a lead instrument. The songs that he produces tend to have a Retro or Neo Soul tent to them. When you listen to Eric’s music, you may hear a little bit of Joe Sample, Roy Ayers or Paul Hardcastle. One person referred to his music as cruisin music. Music that you can listen to on a long drive. Eric also has a song called 2 Minute Chase on an album called Groove Axis by The JWB…The James Ward Band.

Tides is a very special song for Eric because it was the first song that he was able to complete after 4 years of writers block. Eric did not name this tune. He played this song over the phone to a friend and that friend named it Tides. The tune Dance Party is a nickname that was given to Eric because he likes to dance even though he lacks rhythm at times…lol.

Charlotte Clare – Jazz / Reggae / Smooth Jazz

bring it

Charlotte – Clare is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with one of the recording industries finest and most successful musicians and producers Mr Louie Shelton. Over the past several decades you would have heard Louie Shelton’s signature guitar riffs and solos on more hit records than any other session guitarist in history. While there are too many to mention, some of his classics include, Boz Scaggs’ “Low Down”, Lionel Richie’s “Hello”, Neil Diamond’s “Play Me”, The Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back”, “ABC” and “I’ll Be There, The Monkees’ “Last Train To Clarksville” and “Valerie”. Some of the other artists Louie recorded with include John Lennon, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, The Carpenters, Joe Cocker, Kenny Rodgers, The Mamas & Papas, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and many others.

“It could be the first time ever that a publicist can be accused of an understatement. From Australia’s Gold Coast, Charlotte Clare (Looker) is blessed with a soaring, sumptuous voice, and more than a touch of that spiritual Northern Soul sound…“Oh Holy Night” is an island-infused gem. Not a single track disappoints, and a couple of the tracks (“Jingle Bell Rock” and “White Christmas”) are different enough interpretations that left me wanting to play them over and over. So I did. And I am. ”

Salvatore Sgarlata

Salvatore Sgarlata

I have recently recorded the song “Another World: 2012 (Charity Single)” 50% of the proceeds will go to charity and we have chosen UNICEF. The song is available to buy on iTunes, eMusic and Amazon. Please download as it goes to a very worthy cause.

I am a singer/songwriter based in Ayr, Scotland. I sing in other languages including: Italian, French & Spanish. I was interested in music from a young age – I sang in a choir, at private events and on live broadcast as well as having tried my hand at a number of instruments. Despite years of performing at many, including iternational venues, my career never came in to focus; until recently. I set myself the task of finding a publisher. I found Erik McCall.

Erik McCall (former lead guitarist of EASE) is currently my manager and publisher. With Erik I have created my début single “Tell Me Baby”. It was written by Erik McCall with additional music and lyrics from myself. To date: “Tell Me Baby” is in three languages.

The “Tell Me Baby” line up is:
Salvatore Sgarlata: Lead vocals; keys; songwriter.
Ryan Sutherland-Charlton: Rhythm guitar; bass; drum fills;lead guitar.
Erik McCall: Lead guitar on Demo version; songwriter; keys.

Coming soon there will be lots of songs. The style is a unique mix of rock/pop/jazz. I hope there will always be something for everyone in my music.
