Ready or not its here, the revolution is Providence. The sound is a mixed genre of alternative, hip-hop/rock, . Their musical palate is unique, born to itself. A mixture of raw emotion, hard beats and riffs, thought provoking lyrics, soul and fire. Providence is comprised of two members, Maria “Betty-Bull” Edmonds.- Lead Vocals/ Writer & Rob “Bull-E” Edmonds.- Producer/ Writer/Vocals. As a producer, Rob embarked on experimenting with the marriage of hip-hop and rock elements, eventually materializing a fresh revolutionary musical fusion. Maria, a poet, singer-songwriter, was more than ready to lend her talents and Caribbean influence to his distinct sound. With a plethora of musical tastes and backgrounds ranging from Alternative to Rock to Reggae to Hip-Hop to Jazz and Nu-Metal, the duo shows no limitations with their writing ability and style. Starting in June 2007, “Providence” has done nothing but try to break the mold of today’s homogenous repetitive music. Rob’s aggressive hard-hitting production and Maria’s bouncy effervescent hooks and lyrics, that have a definite social conscience, provide the perfect juxtaposition on this euphonious musical odyssey.

Sydal

Sydal

In a time and place where beef and turf politics surround rap music, Sydal has been labeled a breath of fresh air by fans and artists alike. This is because Sydal, who came into the game making dis records about anybody he wasn’t feeling, did a complete 180 and refuses to take part in a practice that has forever held his city down in the industry. “Rap music used to thrive on beef, but the tables have turned. Fans want to hear good MUSIC, positive solutions and be entertained…not caught up in an issue that doesn’t concern them”. Sydal lives in a city that has been going through a constant power struggle, where everybody wants to be labeled the “king” of the city, and collaborations are few and far between. This same problem keeps his hometown of San Jose out of the spotlight. .. ..Sydal started freestyling at the age of 11, and started writing and recording songs at the age of 14. From there, he would duplicate mixtapes in his bedroom and pass them out on a daily basis…to whoever would take one from him. It wasn’t until 2001, at the age of 19, that he financed and recorded his first LP, “Game Theory” and started getting his name out beyond his region. He caught the attention of many people throughout Northern California, and from there he grew his own fanbase from San Jose to Europe and Japan. After falling out with every artist he worked with, all he did was record dis record after dis record, and eventually decided to take a break from music altogether… ..Eventually, Sydal stepped back into the studio and decided to do everything himself. From writing, to beats, to full production (Pre-Mastering). By his side are cats like Young D, JC and Trenceda, whom he has been working closely with for quite some time now. Because of that, you can expect a few new albums very soon. This includes a Sydal solo, a Sydal & JC collaboration project, and some work from the StreetSav camp and Young D. Sydal has been from studio to studio, writing and recording non-stop for himself and for others. He is set to feature on numerous upcoming projects, and expand into other areas of entertainment as well… ..On top of all the recording, Sydal can be found performing in venues such as The Improv in San Jose, The Britannia Arms in Cupertino, and various other places. If you’d like to see him in your area, hit him up and it will happen. We’ll see what the world holds for this man, who is bent on creating good music for good people. “I don’t want to make records that will get me killed, I want to make records that will get me HEARD! I’m here to touch people, and to make real music with some real talented people”. I’m sure the world will be surprised when they hear what Sydal is bringing to the table. Sydal will be one of the best in the industry very soon…

Proylfik

SAMUEL ELIJAH JOHNSON a.k.a. Proylfik was born of poverty In The rough projects Of Escambia Arms In Pensacola fl. 1983. After surviving the trials And tribulations of hood life.Proylfik Felt there was something else he was put on this dirt to do. Besides the average things a human put on this earth would do. He became very fascinated with music at a very young age. He loved the way instruments sounded as they were being played. The fascination soon grew stronger. He idolized and learned more about music by also watching videos and being influenced by so many other great artist and performers. Suddenly Proylfik decided that he was gonna give music a try because maybe it was his calling and ticket out. At first it was just a lot of clumsy rhyming words he came up with. That made no sense at all. Not even to him. But as time passed.Proylfik started too quickly progress. Becoming extremely more lyrical, beginning to write with better structure as well as meaning. Despite the many people in his life telling him “You Cant Do It” Or that his music is whack” or doesn’t sound good” ect etc.Proylfik kept his mind focused and stayed determined knowing that it will pay off.Not wanting too be just another mainstream come and go artists. Proylfik wanted history to be made for people to remember his name after he is gone. He wanted too become a legend like 2pac ,B.I.G. Jay-Z and so many other hip hop greats. Blessed with the gift too not only rap but also sing. Proylfik now uses this combination sometimes too construct masterpieces as Picasso does. Now 29, Proylfik has been in The Down Magazine as the best performer in the area. Also included in The Source Magazine. Who stated “His Lyrics Are Clearly Ready For Mainstream” written by the editor himself after watching Proylfik perform. Proylfik has also had his picture on the front page of the local paper. He was the winner of many Open Mic Competitions. The winner of 3 Nationwide Talent Search Contests. Well known and well respected in many cities from Florida 2 as high as Sydney Australia and Russia. Proylfik is a destined superstar artist. Who has no problem in defeating his competition or opponents musically once he turns the heat on. Now after reaching and exceeding his level of greatness. Proylfik now waits patiently for his chance too set his mark in the hip hop/rap chapter. With strong punchlines as well as heart felt delivery of words, well thought of concepts and extreme lyrical word play. Easily separates Proylfik from most of the average and even the Mainstream Artist. .. Proylfik Remains Humble And Shows Love And Wishes The Best To Any Artist Trying To Make It In The World Of Music Because “In The End Sometimes That’s All We Have Left To Do So Keep Pushing And Know That Sky’s The Limit So Reach Beyond The Clouds Til U Reach The Stars”Proylfik. …. Viggio Acosta “Oh Yeah”

Mr.RED

Chicago has created some of the most successful stars in the rap game like Kanye West, Common, Twista, and Lupe Fiasco but Mr.RED has come to give the fans what Chicago is known for, what they expect, Gansta! “If I was born white I’d be C.E.O. of a fortune 500 corporation but instead you get Mr.RED the streets’ C.E.O.!” “I couldn’t wait for somebody else, so I put myself on!”

“Elven n Maxine made me but the streets raised me!” “I’m like a blizzard, real cool but very dangerous!” If you are lucky enough to spend any amount of time with this man you can see why everybody can relate to music. Same as his everyday life there is a near perfect balance of power, respect, fear, and knowledge that cant be bought duplicated or faked!

Mr.RED is not just an artist, Mr.RED is a brand! When asked what is your main objective in this business? He paused, looked up and to the right, then looked back as if a light went off in his head and said “I’m jus tryin to bring back the real.” “Meaning, I wanna get rid of the impossible and bring back the probable” That is an evident fact if you have ever listened to any of the three mixtapes tht he’s released under his label Da Empire Records.

What set’s Mr.RED’s music apart from other rappers is his attention to detail. His music is like a musical book, although explict, up front, and hardcore it is not so far fetched that is unbelievable, hence the exspression “bringin back the real”
